Bassem Eid
Bassem Eid is a human rights activist, researcher, and commentator on Arab and Palestinian affairs.

Eid was born in Jerusalem and raised in a Palestinian refugee camp. He rose to prominence during the first Intifada as a researcher for B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights group critical of IDF actions in the West Bank and Gaza. In 1996, he founded the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group and He continued his criticisms of human rights policies of both Israeli and Palestinian armed forces, including publicly denouncing the widespread abuse, torture and killings of Palestinian dissidents by the PA.

Thoughtful Thursdays 

Be Part Of Our Team As We Begin 7th Year

The Jewish community's Thoughtful Thursdays volunteers are beginning a 7th year helping the 72 children who attend Brightpoint Head Start at the Temple. Under the leadership of Jamie Berger, our team will assemble bags on the dates listed below. All are welcome to assist.
