Our Annual Meeting is always a meaningful opportunity to gather in person, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate together.
This year, we were honored to recognize Bishop Bill McGill as “One of the Righteous” for his longstanding support of our community. This award is the Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne’s counterpart to “Righteous Among the Nations,” presented by Israel’s Holocaust remembrance center, Yad Vashem, to non-Jews who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust without seeking personal gain.
We concluded the day with a powerful act of service: together, we packaged and donated 6,048 meals for Project 216.
